A TWENTY-TWO year old woman of Lusaka has allegedly been abducted and held captive by unknown criminals.
This follows a video which has gone viral on various social media platforms depicting a young woman who is said to be 22 as having been abducted by unknown criminals.
The woman, identified as Pamela can be seen and heard begging her family to release money to her abductors.
She also said her life is in danger and that if her family members do not release the amount of money they want, she will be killed.
The alleged abductors whose faces are not shown in the video can be seen beating the victim with a metal bar while she screams for help.
“They will kill me, please dont delay sending money, if you are seeing this now, please send the money they will me,” a distraught Pamela tells her family through a video recording.
It is alleged that the criminals kidnapped the victim and stole unknown amounts of money.
And police spokesperson Rae Hamoonga said police is investigating the matter.
“We are investigating the matter.”, he said.
