Sky Girls Cut Ties With Mwaka Halwindi Following Her Leaked Explicit Video Scandal
In the wake of a recently leaked explicit video that has taken social media by storm, SKY Girls Zambia has officially announced that it has cut all ties with rising media personality and actress Mwaka Halwiindi.
Mwaka, who was previously involved with SKY Girls through various youth empowerment projects, has been at the center of controversy following the circulation of a 22-second private video. Though she has maintained that she did not share the footage herself and has since reported the matter to law enforcement, the fallout continues to affect her brand and professional associations.
In a brief but firm statement, SKY Girls Zambia stated:
“We have officially canceled all involvement with Mwaka Halwindi. SKY is a community that stands for girls being true to themselves, their values, and what they believe in. Unfortunately, what transpired does not align with our core principles. While we will not comment further on the situation out of respect for all parties involved, we remain committed to supporting girls in making positive choices and staying true to themselves.”
SKY Girls Zambia is a well-known empowerment movement that unites teenage girls across the country under a shared mission of self-respect, self-expression, and authenticity. The group has built a strong reputation through social events, and teen drama series like Tikula.
While many fans remain supportive of Mwaka and call for compassion during this difficult time, others believe that brands and youth organizations like SKY Girls are right to uphold their values publicly.
